A special session on “Child Sexual Abuse” was organised at DAV School , Mohali for the students of classes III to XII. A special doctor Dr. Manjula was invited for this informative session in collaboration with Simply Health Plus Pvt. Ltd.  Child sexual abuse is a problem that we can no longer afford to ignore. Komal and Sparsh a short films produced by Child Line was shown to the students.  These films educates children on the concept of safe and unsafe touch. It also teaches children how to protect themselves and how to seek help from adults if ever caught in a situation where they are threatened by unsafe touch. The students were also informed about the child help line numbers and how to make use of it in emergency. This proved to be a fruitful session and after having this session students seemed to be more confident and energetic.
