Baisakhi is an important harvest festival of 'Punjab' that has religious value as well. Festivals bring joy and happiness. It is celebrated on 12th April this year. 'Baisakhi' was celebrated from Nursery to 2nd class with great zeal and enthusiasm. Children made craft things like made corn with tumb painting activity. Students also did colouring in worksheets. They were shown a small animated video on Baisakhi. They were also made aware of the importance of the festival by showcasing the punjabi culture. Students of L.KG to 2nd coloured the worksheets of Baisakhi. These engaging and fun-filled activities were planned in such a manner that students went home confident and connected to each other. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise the children with their culture and heritage.
